ELON MUSK ANNOUNCES INTRODUCING VIDEO AUDIO CALL FEATURE ON X

 

California:  Social networking platform X (formerly Twitter) CEO Elon Musk has announced the introduction of video and audio calling features.

In a post from the X chief on Thursday, the new features will not require users to have a phone number and will be available on Apple's iOS, Google's Android and personal computers.

However, no launch date has been announced by them. After Twitter's rebranding as X, Elon Musk hinted at turning the platform into a super app, offering a range of services from messaging to direct money transfers.

Elon Musk is also working on changes to how news links appear on the platform, which could affect the reach of news organizations.
