THE STOCK MARKET CRASHED,
DOWN 1242 POINTS
KARACHI: The stock market crashed due to economic instability, uncertain political situation and ongoing protests against the increase in electricity prices.
The
Pakistan Stock Exchange on Thursday also had a bearish trend from the beginning
of the business and the business started with a decline of 233 points.
The
100 index fell to 46,011 points at the start due to investors' lack of interest
and concerns, and this trend continued till the end of the market.
At the end of the market, the 100 index closed at 45,002 points, falling below the 46,000 points level with a major decline of 1,242 points.
